The Big Lebowski

So I wanted to watch The Big Lebowski. My mom quotes it all the time and I just was kinda bored. So I turned it on also not knowing it was a Coen Brothers movie and this movie did not disappoint. I first of all loved Jeff Bridges. He brought so much to the movie that with him it would be okay. I mean he just brought the vibe and like me was very “Mahalo”. But just the character of the dude was great and honestly could relate with him so much.
​I also think the plot of the movie was great. The fact that everyone was just confused and wanted to get rich just goes to show the chaos of LA and that was the point of the movie. I also love the bowling alley just being the prime location for the movie. It is just so random and so perfect that it just makes me happy. I also love that Steve Bushimi died. Again, It is so random and so perfect that it makes you sad while also wanting to watch more. I love how you don't know what is happening next but what happens is just great. I will admit the plot was a little confusing at times but you just kind of have to go with the flow.
The one thing I did not like was the cussing and inappropriateness. Like I am not someone who constantly lives in a world of PG but this movie was a lot. I mean it holds the records for f words per minute in a movie. But at times the sheer vulgarness of the movie just took away from the plot. But overall it is still a funny movie. Like just the fact he keeps saying he wants his fing carpet is funny and I think does not get old. Overall I thought this movie was great would watch it again and it just solidifies my love for the Coen brothers.
